ABOUT ME

IMG_3928.JPG

In 2002, I completed training in body-oriented therapy in Ukraine and have been running a private practice ever since, combining my work with ongoing professional development.

I received a specialized psychological education (Practical Psychologist, Psychologist-Psychotherapist), continued my studies at the Medical Academy of Postgraduate Education, and mastered various methods: family therapy, Hellinger constellations, neo-Reichian pulsations, Mindell process work, and other different approaches.  I conducted trainings, active meditations, organized training courses and camps, and ran a private practice.

From 2014 to 2021, I taught Lifespan Integration® method in St. Petersburg.

Practice and personal experience as a client in various methods have led me to the same conclusion over and over again: touching traumatic memories does not mean healing them and easily leads to reliving past states without resolution or integration.
I now know that this only reinforces the neural networks formed by trauma, but does not form new ones or inform the body that the past is over.

This is what prompted me to look for methods that work gently and at the same time bring about lasting change. It was a long journey from one method to another.

The answer came in 2020 when I met Dr. Anandi Janner Steffan and learned about her approach, later named Tift - Trauma Integrating Flow Therapy. This meeting was a turning point in my personal and professional life.
After starting to work with Dr. Anandi Janner Steffan, I realized that I needed a deeper understanding of the neurobiology of attachment and trauma. I studied and continue to study with leading experts in the field, such as Dr. Daniel Siegel, Bessel Van der Kolk, Stephen Porges, and another.
Anandi Janner's approach is natural and consistent: it helps strengthen the nervous system and increase resilience in everyday life. The method is safe and gentle—for both the client and the therapist—and focused on real, practical change.
Since 2020, I have been working with clients worldwide in the Tift method under the supervision of Dr. Anandi Janner Steffann. In 2024, I completed the advanced level of Tift training in Bremen, Germany.
In 2020, I also discovered NIA, which has been an inspiring and joyful addition to my life and a way to resolve my chronic back pain and maintain good physical health. Therefore, I supplement my practice with daily “5 Stages of NIA” classes, to which I invite anyone who wants to improve their life.
I have also created my own short-term method called Touch Of Safety, which aims to provide an experience of feeling safe in one's own body and safe, attuned touch, which is often missing in complex trauma. Touch of Safety embodies my many years of experience in body-oriented therapy and a deeper understanding of complex trauma that has emerged over the past 5 years.

I am a psychotherapist with 23 years of clinical and teaching experience.

My journey began after graduating from Saint Petersburg National Technical University (1999).

The starting point of my journey was the conviction that it is the body that tells a person's true story, and my first passion was body-oriented therapy.
